The 24h Dream Lab event is a 24-hour journey of exploration into dreams and the significance of dreaming in creativity and motivation.
Embracing your subconscious is essential to creativity. It can happen through dream states or the creative process. It can also affect your everyday life in positive ways. How can dreams and dreaming improve wellbeing? How can we let go of control, develop our problem-solving skills and learn to fulfil our creative potential?
In 24h Dream Lab, we explore these questions through talks, workshops, films and collective naps. We also inspire you to dive deeper into your own dreams and creativity in the hope that you can learn something new about yourself.
The event starts on Saturday 11.2 at 12:00 with a series of Design Talks on dream research, the role of dreams in art history, and the relationship between creativity and the subconscious. In the afternoon, Iittala & Arabia Design Centre invites everyone to take part in a collective nap.
After the nap, you can visualize your dreams in guided workshops. The event continues through the night with visually stunning films selected by artists and designers from Iittala and Arabia. The event closes with an early-bird workshop on Sunday morning.
