Design Lab, Iittala & Arabia Design Centre, 8.floor
FULLY BOOKED - In this workshop you can try out a porcelain painting technique where a motif is scraped out of a color surface. This technique is often used by ceramic artist Laura Pehkonen in her work. The Design Lab Gallery and Iittala & Arabia Design Centre is a place for changing exhibitions and your own experiments.
“My strongest expertise is in ceramics and its various decoration techniques. I love working with strong colors, surfaces and patterns. At the Painting Paradise workshops we take inspiration from the rich shapes and colors of different fruits and flowers in the spirit of Birger Kaipiainen's Paratiisi tableware.”
- Laura Pehkonen
